      DREAMING and AWAKENING Workshop

      DREAMING and AWAKENING
with STEPHEN LaBERGE and ALAN WALLACE
      Wednesday May 10 – Friday, May 19, 2006
      Kalani Oceanside Retreat, Hawaii

      Aloha, Oneironauts!

As we all know, becoming adept at lucid dreaming requires focused attention and practice that is difficult to maintain during our busy lives. This is an ideal opportunity to devote time to cultivating your lucid dreaming ability and enhancing your mindfulness in everyday life.

Using the most effective techniques and technology, derived from Western science and Tibetan Dream Yoga, Stephen LaBerge, Ph.D. and Alan Wallace, Ph.D. will co-present instructions on methods of developing the mental skills that foster lucidity and on directing consciousness within both dreaming and waking states towards fulfillment of personal goals.

Participants in our past retreats have had great success with achieving lucidity, with most having had one or more lucid dreams during the program. For sample evaluations, please see http://lucidity.com/daa/testimonials.html. Be sure to read the witty and wildly humorous article by Bucky Mcmahon describing his lucid dreams during a previous retreat at: http://lucidity.com/BuckyMcMahonKalani02.pdf

We look forward to meeting and dreaming with those of you who can join us in creating yet another memorable adventure in exploring the wondrous realm of lucid dreaming!

Details and online registration are available at:

      Sweet tropical dreams to all!

Yes, in Hawaii - it's not just a dreamcamp, but a wonderful vacation from everything. No phones or TV's in rooms. Plenty of trees and fresh air. Excurions to lava tunels and calderas. Clean oceans, and best of all - topless (and nude) sunbathers!

Not to forget time with LaBerge himself and his wonderful staff.

So, where can you get all that here on the mainland for 2 grand?

I would love to go to this, but it would require a massive saving, and NZ currency doesn't quite match US currency, so it would cost a hellova lot more for me.
Maybe some day.... In my dreams.......

pssst...... maybe they could do some sort of mega awesome deal for people that are DV users....... maybe that\'s wishful thinking........

If these people are so good at lucid dreaming, why don't we all attend the workshop in our dreams? That would be a heck of a lot easier...in fact, I might just construct my own workshop in my dreams. Everyone is welcome! IT COSTS NOTHING! I don't know what LaBerge and Wallace look like, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.

I wonder how much I can actually learn. If one were to attend a Lucid Dreaming workshop in their dreams, do you think you would get better at it (Lucid Dreaming)? Just because the fact that you are suggesting to your subconscious that you are actually more knowledgeable about the topic…

      Worth a shot I think…

(That’s my ridiculous contribution to the message boards for today.)

      Hypnosis

I know what you mean. I have spent $2000 on getting certified in hypnosis which will start in September. Having that CH after my name would mean I could then do hypnosis as a 2nd or 3rd job. It would carry more weight than attending a workshop. My focus will be on Lucid Dreaming anyway, so using hyponosis I believe will help me more than a workshop.

No way - there actually is such a thing as being "certified in hypnosis"?! Do you think you'll be able to do what I wrote here in this other thread?

Too bad you don't start the seminar untill September - I'd really like to know about the possibility of doing this and how likely it is to work.

Yeah, it could carry more weight, but I went to this workshop (last year) and it wasn't just working along with LaBerge, his staff, and meeting other people who shared the interest in lucid dreaming that was great - but being in hawaii surrounded by nothing but tropical foilage, black beaches, nakedness all around and toxin-free food was a whole other experience itself. I highly recommend it just for it's vacation value. Carry weight? I was more interested in takin a load off!

Man, I could REALLY use a vacation right now and Hawaii sounds great. I'd love the opportunity to talk to LaBerge and his friends as well.

Say Joe, any idea if LaBerge ever visitted us after you passed out all those cards at last years workshop?
