You can't kill consciousness, only the connection between it and matter, and even that is temporary.

"Any truth I say is a contradiction because this reality is a contradiction." -> SolSkye, because I couldn't have stated it better.

Death in a dream does not mean death in real life. I have died many times in dreams and am still here to tell you about it. I even died in a dream and became a ghost but i am definitly still here.

I have died in my dreams, and it is similar to what AdvenDreams said:

In a dream I had when I was about 6 or 7, my grandmother somehow managed to kill me with a plastic toy chainsaw. It was just like passing out, and when I 'awoke', I was awake back in the real world.

I'ver died... umm... three times I think. One time, a DC version of Oneironaut cut my legs off with a katana and let me bleed to death. Another time I got shot by a bunch of old-fasioned gangsters in a film noir type dream. Another time I fell into a sea of acid. It's kind of disconcerting, but, yeah...

The whole "If you die in your dreams, you die in real life" thing is just absolutely idiotic. I mean, just, stop, and give it some critical thought. So, we get a lot of people who die in their sleep... how the fuck do we know that, when they died in their sleep, they were also dying in their dreams, unless they were alive to tell us? Which they're not, cos they're dead. Jesus, some people are stupid...

haha bro, those are the nice ones . I dream Lucid Nightmares. But I sort of like them, it adds a little extra to it. lol. Yeah whenever I die while I'm Lucid it is mostly becuase it happens to fast for me to do anything or I end up thinking the wrong thing and I manifest my own death. Oh and zombie dreams are very freaquent. But I do have all sorts of dream powers that I have learnt thru time so I can fight back when needed..

One time I had a dream where I jumped into lava, it was pretty sweet.

Also, I read an article somewhere where they killed dogs, and replaced their blood with a special fluid, and then put the blood backin and brought them back to life after 2 or 3 hours, (it only had a 50% success rate). I would sure like to own a zombie dog.

I have had my body destroyed in a dream, but I found a new body to occupy nearby. I have not had any 'real' death in any of my dreams.

And you will not die in reality if you die in a dream, unless you are old or have a bad heart and it is too exciting, thus causing an hearth attack or something along those lines.
