Has anyone had this experience? |

My sister died over two years ago. I have met her a couple of times in a dream. Once when I was WILDing, she came into my hotel room and sat in the chair next to my bed. I lost my concentration and woke up right then. |

I just experienced this for the first time ever. My Omi (grandma) was sitting on my bed and we had a nice conversation, although I wasn't lucid. I knew in my dream that she was supposed to be dead, but I seemed to accept the fact that she had "come back" for a little while. |

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible." -Walt Disney
My maternal grandmother has appeared in my dreams a number of times over the years since she died. She usually does not say anything, but always does things that seem very in character for her. (A statement that cannot be made about any other characters using the form of recognizable actual people in my dreams.) Strangely, in the most touching of these dreams, I watched her from another room sweeping with my daughter (who was born several years after she died). Since in my life there have been numerous moments of symbolic sweeping, I was comforted to see my grandmother passing on this skill to my daughter. |

I for one believe that when we dream we come into a closer contact with that relm that exists for us after we pass on. Obviously, I believe in life after death. My father passed away a few years back and since then has been present in my dreams. Some times he gives advice and others he's just there it seems to say, "You can find me here when you need me." |

I saw my dead grandfather in a dream. Triggered a lucid dream. My only lucid dream. |

Why sleep when you can dream?
About twice a year or so, I dream of someone who's passed on. It's usually my grandmother. In these dreams I don't realize she's dead. And she usually never says anything. I catch glimpes of her or she'll be sitting in the room with me...and I always feel so unbelievably content when she's near. |

I know everybody else is talking about people, but I had a pretty weird dream about 6 months after my cat died. She was the same age as me, so not having her in my life was a pretty big deal... |
