1. How do I go from sleep paralysis to a lucid dream instead of simply going into light dreams or hallucinations?
2. How far does hallucinating experiences go during sleep paralysis, can you have substantially desirable experiences during it? This question applies to both the hallucinations you have with your eyes (or one eye) opened and closed, which are obviously much more vivid.
Note: I achieved the sleep paralysis through FILD, it feels bizarre, people describe it as an "anchor" but it's more like a thing you leave in the past and then through processes unknown to you, you just end up in a lucid dream or paralyzed. You don't remember the process at all.
Hi Bellegar;
I find sleep paralysis an excellent way into LDs but they can be hard to get out into a LD because I believe we think we must use our mind.
One way I found the easiest was to "roll out of bed " but it's not easy and took me a few times. When you can't move its dam right impossible to achieve by using your mind, but I found using my gut worked instead, coupled with belief and intent. Once I did it, I stood looking at my dream body in bed and everything seemed as it was in real life. I practiced using my gut, by just being in my belly, and keeping my mind there. no fear lived in my belly so just breathing from there and knowing rolling out of bed was on its way, I relaxed and it just happened.
good luck.
