Lucid Dreaming questions
I have some questions
Do you know you're in a dream? And if so can you force yourself to wake up
Are you basically god in the dream?
Do you have full control, as in, I write stories (I actually do) can you make the dream in a story
(Joke) is there copyright laws for lucid dreaming like no using copyrighted characters Btw thanks for answering, I probably will ask more

1. Yes, the definition of a lucid dream (LD) is one where you are aware that you are in a dream and yes you can wake yourself up on command.
2. You can do whatever you want in a LD, anything.
3. Yes but it takes some practice for some people. You may or may not find it easy when first starting out to control your dreams, either way dream control is a skill that can be developed and isn't hard to improve.

Oh, many thanks for your answer.

Yes, you know when you're in a dream, that's why it's called "lucid dream", because you're lucid/aware that you're in a dream
If you're a god, it depends on how good is your dream controll, because it's a total separate skill of LDing, most people kinda struggles for control a dream, but it's normal to think that if you're lucid, you can do anything(you can, if you pratice dream controll).

Do you know you're in a dream? And if so can you force yourself to wake up
In a lucid dream you know you're in a dream. That's kind of what a lucid dream is. I can intuitively wake myself up but almost never do it because I want to experience as much as possible.
Are you basically god in the dream?
'god' with a little 'g'. On a good night. God with a big 'G', no still working on that. I'm improving the scope, power and precision of my dream control, but you will never have complete, precise control over the experience.
Do you have full control, as in, I write stories (I actually do) can you make the dream in a story
You can in write a story or come up with a creative concept (character, locale, item) and then manifest it or find it within a dream. Keep in mind that dreams (and sometimes the characters/figures within them) aren't fully under your control.
(Joke) is there copyright laws for lucid dreaming like no using copyrighted characters Btw thanks for answering, I probably will ask more
(serious answer) Copyright law is only invoked if you are making money off of another intellectual property. Copyrighted characters often appear in my dreams and many people I've gotten deeply involved in exploring lucid dreaming with have similar experiences.

"Are you basically god in the dream? "
Adding onto Lombrigo's post... You sorta are..? Somewhat like a god without a mind-process (but can be improved with dream control practice). I get a lucid about 4 times a year, and I've wasted quite a few because you do not have the same thought process you do in real life. I had a WILD a while back where I was in spongebob bikini bottom and just drove around a boatmobile for a while, dont know why, it just felt cool and like what I was supposed to be doing. Also social situations are pretty similar to real life.
Basically, you have to derive your own power in a lucid dream, and that can really only be done with practice.
