Hi! I just joined this forum and was keen on trying the SSILD/WILD method. I have been able to have targeted dreams, not particularly lucid, but having control has been a fascinating matter to me. First of, I don't know much about lucid dreaming and haven't been able to have many apart from when I consumed some illegal substances, days following which I had LD/SP for a whole week, I would even make noises, scream and move around I was told. Anyways, I have had a very bad lifestyle, but there something which that lifestyle taught me about dreams.

A. Redbull gives you dreams. Drink 2-3 and the probability of you having LD or SP if not in a proper mindset is pretty close to 90%. It can be exhausting, but it works, or rather, that's why it works.
B. You CAN continue your dream if you are awoken but still drowsy, don't 'wake' up, just focus on some aspect of the dream you were having and you will get back into it pretty easy. It doesn't work if you wake up fresh.
C. As most people on this forum pointed out, yes, targeted dreams/LD mostly happen in the last 2 hours of your sleep. It's also very easy to achieve them in the evening (Not afternoon), although I more likely have nightmares at that time.
D. Redundant but you need to be in that perfect awoken but could sleep in a moments notice phase for it to be 100% successful. If you are consciously thinking about steps, I suppose you have already lost half the game.
E. Outer stimulation helps achieve target objective. You want to make sure the dream's about something? Well, just set up some kind of voice alarm with narration or sounds you would like to hear in your sleep close to the period after you wake up and sleep again in the last 2 hours.
F. Again, reiteration but important that people understand, the more drowsy you are in the last 2 hours when you wake up, the better the chances. I have had my best dreams when I woke up exhausted due to some medicine/red bull/ illegal substance and then had to go back to sleep.

That's about all of my experience in this matter. I have had plenty of experiences in the past 1-2 years where I remember something that happened yesterday or the day that I'm remembering the matter on, but can't tell if it really happened or was a dream. I keep waking up to see writings on the wall wriggling in and our of existence. Coherent writing that I could read. I have recently started seeing spiders and insects which feel real but I could smash them with my palm and they would disappear. Then sometimes I have felt some of this didn't even happen and maybe was a dream. Anyways, before learning about LD, which is mostly today. I have had some pretty wild organic experiences which keep me confident that I would be able to achieve something in the Lucid world. I hope to share my experiences from there soon. I would also like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge on here.
