Hello, all. |

I also struggle with finding the motivation to journal, despite loving my dreams and wanting to write them down. I find this is because I generally feel that the reward of writing down the dreams is not worth the cost in comfort. |

You could try to do an audio recording journaling, just a thought. |
|
I have this problem too |

Oh, I must also add. Unless you have a set habit, its hard to do anything requiring will power when first waking up in the morning because your brains still half asleep. You're likely dehydrated, you need energy from food, the bathrooms calling, the day's stressors are playing re-appearing in your mind and your brain convinces you that writing down those dreams are of lesser importance! |
|
I have found the same....I sometimes have to really talk myself into writing them down. |
|
The more I gaze....the more I crave to see
When you next stand at cliff's edge....will you finally learn to fly?
They're like 'shadow memories'. Elusive, fleeting and temporary unless they were so unusual, unique and special that our brain takes note to store them in the long term memory. |

For most people, it is no more than this; a cost-benefit analysis. |

I have been a bit lazy in journaling, myself. Maybe we all need to be more confident in ourselves in a roundabout way. |

I find dream journaling to be a pain and really don't enjoy it, unless I'm recording a lucid dream. But, I will admit that in the past getting lucid is much easier when I consistently record my dreams. |
