I think I may have had my first real lucid dream and was totally baffled by it and what happened

So last night, I ended up having a very vivid and realistic dream which started off with me in class and when I was out of class, I like knew it was a dream as it school is over. I tried to put my finger through my palm but it didn't work though. Afterwords, a dream guide appeared to try and teach me how to fly and said i should be prepared to have my face broken and i tried to fly but i couldn't just fell on the grass. It was just crazy how realistic it felt as i felt the sun's heat and am excited to do more. Though I wonder why my rc didnt work or why I couldn't fly. But yeah..i'm just amazed by the whole thing
