Hello There!
I can't really call myself a pro and I can't guarantee that this will help everybody, but just thought that I would share a new method that I have been using over the past few months to increase my LD count. It probably seems really obvious and basic, but I'm sharing it anyway (because of how much it helped me). Also, this works best for those who want to have MORE lucid dreams, because it works by studying and recording the lucid dreams that you are already having.

Stuff you will need
-Empty journal
-Pencil(s)
-Colored markers/pencils/etc. (optional, but makes it more colorful )
-Sleep tracking app (I use "Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock" by Northcube AB)

The Method
The way this works is that it helps you keep track of your lucid dreams better, and makes it easier to find what method works best for YOU. When you have a lucid dream, write the title, date, and a short description of your lucid dream (you can keep the full entry in your regular dream journal to go back to or just write it in this one). After that part, you write down the times that you went to bed and woke up (along with any times you woke up during the night, which you can see with the sleep tracker app). Be sure to include notes of anything you did differently that day/night that might affect your dreams (such as mantras, reality checks, meditation, etc.). You might wonder what the colors are for. Well, I like to color-code my dreams based on how aware I was in them. That way I can see what I did differently on the nights that I had the better dreams. Brighter=more aware, darker=less. Like I said in the beginning, I don't claim that this is some kind of major creative breakthrough that deserves its own fancy title, but it is a handy little trick that I wish I knew about sooner.

My Personal Experience
I've only been using my lucid dream journal method for a few months now, but over this year so far I have gone from having about 0-2 barely lucid dreams each month to 1-4 awesome ones each week (which probably doesn't sound like a lot to some, but it's a lot of progress for me!). I've been into lucid dreaming for almost 5 years now, and it's always been a roller coaster. After I decided to try this, I was able to make the connection to why some nights I had unbelievable adventure dreams and on others, I couldn't even remember one regular dream. I've never been able to have a WILD, no matter how long I was trying for. I either fell asleep too fast or stayed awake all night. I learned that my best lucid dreams happen whenever I fall asleep in a regular dream. I also happen to have way more of these dreams when I wake up at the time that I'd like to get up on a normal day (6-7:00 AM) and then go back to sleep without doing anything but thinking about the dreams that I had that night.

I really hope you can find some success with this. Let me know if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can (it probably could have been explained better, but I'm not really good at that kind of thing ). Good luck with your dreaming journeys!
