New Year's Dream - Hatsuyume, a Japanese Tradition.

      Hi Everyone,

I thought you may appreciate a little info on some Japanese dream mythology. Hatsuyume is the Japanese tradition/superstition of using the first dream of the year as an auspicious omen.

Of course, there's no science behind this (it's mythology after all), but it's always good to know a little about the dream traditions of the world. Stories and myths are sometimes a great way to get people interested in dreams and from there on, lucid dreaming

As much as I love science, I'm also a big fan of mythology, and this is a fun one.

It's definitely inspired me to make sure that tonight's lucid dream is particularly interesting.

I love to hear what your first dreams of the year are!?

Oh and of course, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
