Haha, great idea. I have at least one, but I'll have to find it first. |

Has anybody experienced neologisms (made-up words) in lucid dreams? |

I remember there was an old Task of the Month on DV that was "Ask a DC to tell you a word in a different language and its meaning." So you might be able to find some good ones there: http://www.dreamviews.com/tasks-mont...st-2014-a.html |

"Going through life worrying about the little things is like cooking with motor oil instead of cooking oil. Sure, you can still probably pull it off, but it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth in retrospect." - Me, apparently

Not long ago I was called a "L.V.B." by a dream character. |

"Parable.- Those thinkers in whom all stars move in cyclic orbits are not the most profound: whoever looks into himself as into vast space and carries galaxies in himself also knows how irregular all galaxies are; they lead into the chaos and labyrinth of existence."- Friedrich Nietzsche, the gay science, First published in 1882 revised in 1887, translated by Walter Kaufmann [/SIGPIC]
I used to write down neologisms when they occurred, thinking/hoping that there might be some deeper meaning to be discovered about them somewhere down the road (especially when they seemed really meaningful or truly mysterious during the dream), but my research into the odd phrases yielded nothing every time, so I stopped recording them (unless of course they seemed to be extremely important, because, hey, you never know!). |

Not a bad idea. Sometimes in my dreams I meet people with weird or funny names. When I wake up I try to check them in the internet. For example on the Facebook. Usually I can not find anything alike. But I don't remember them now, sorry. Next time I hear any new name I'll post it here |

Funny I just saw this and last night I had one. It was a Double-Two Mattress (a little bigger than a twin but two high) apparently all of the kids wanted one |

I'm back after a short dry spell. |

Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.

I love coming across made-up words, names etc. in dreams. I have them quite often, but in non-lucid dreams, and I collect them all into my own little dictionary. One of them is quadront=imposter, I've actually been using that casually amongst people who know what it means, so I've almost forgotten it's a dream-word xD |
