So, I recently stumbled upon a normal thread with normal thoughts: The OP wants to use Lucid Dreaming as a tool to be creative and get ideas.

But then I stumbled upon this guy in the comments
He claims that Lucid Dreaming is a vivid version of Daydreaming, and that "great artists" can do creative things even without the help of lucid dreaming.

And that it is not good to use Lucid Dreaming as a tool to be creative.

I was kind of shocked that this guy thinks of LDing and daydreaming as the same thing. I am confused about his perspective about Lucid Dreams.
I personally think that Lucid Dreaming is not a cheat code, and one can use Lucid Dreams in any way he or she wants.

"LD-ing at best is only a tool. Tools do not boost creativity! Creativity is a matter of the heart. It isn't a skill."
-> What does this even mean? I don't get this.

I discussed this in the DV chat and it seems like there are a lot of logical fallacies in his claims, and he does not understand the concept of LDing and cultivating creativity.

I don't know how I should reply to this, and I just sent a PM to the original poster so he does not get discouraged by Nefandi.
