Those are really great with your technique and you should get one. I personally never thought about pursuing lucid dreams before the 5-6 hour WBTB, because that way you can get a good night's sleep before actively trying to maintain awareness in the dream state. Also huge parts of the REM- periods happen after that 5-6 hours, so trying to get lucid when there isn't a proper dream world to enter is a bit hard. You're doing splendid with your current technique and I would continue with it. But if you really want to get lucid before the WBTB, I could suggest meditation, strong suggestion and visualization. You could also set a few alarms to wake you up before the REM- sleep stages, but again I personally wouldn't since you would be messing with your natural sleep cycle pretty hardly. Good luck!
Thank you so much for the encouragement
Im a light sleeper and I wake up naturally and haven't used an alarm clock. It sounds like I should continue what I am doing and increase the meditation and visualisation before falling asleep ..OK, I will do that and advise. Thank you so much
