Isn't it called DILD, Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming? Or are you talking about something different?

Yes its different, I almost did a DEILD "Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream" today at 4:50 am, I have only ever managed it once, from a Lucid dream where I had become lucid 3x but lost lucidity and then woke up for a second or so before falling back into a similar dream

      This Morning:
I had been in a non-lucid dream and then I began to wake up, I had taken the most Melatoin ever and when I do that at the moment of waking I often see a pattern in my vision as I transition to wake. Of course being asleep I was confused and as usual thought Oh I'm falling asleep, but then quickly a vibration began to build I could feel it quite strongly, and I realized I was actually falling awake. This is the point where a DEILD can begin as this is the point of 'Dream Exit', I attempted to lie perfectly still, I could feel my body it felt numb and as if it couldn't be moved, if I had tried so move a shoulder or something it wouldn't have moved because I was partially paralyzed, but I knew I could if I chose move my fingers and break this paralysis

(I have never felt the vibration before but often seen the visual pattern, many experience this vibration in WILD which is similar to DEILD)

instead I tried to lie still and fall back into a dream, If I had done so with consciousness it would have been a successful DEILD but I failed, I chose after about 25 or 30 second to move my fingers and I felt my arm and then body become unparalyzed

I had been nearly lucid in the dream, as I had managed to successfully plant two elements into the dream, that were causing the DCs to act very weird if I had triggered then that would have been a DILD as the items and DC reaction would have triggered lucidity from within the dream itself which is the Dream Induced Lucid Dream.

Technically I suppose I was lucid, because at the last instant before the vibration set in I did try to rub my hands together to begin stabilizing, but I was already pretty much out of the dream, but not yet awake, I'm not counting this as Lucidity tho. Seeing the pattern I knew it was too late and so chose the attempt to DEILD instead.

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
