What do you want to be writing in your DJ tomorrow?
So this is sort of along the same lines as the "Post in this thread and you will have a lucid dream tonight" thread. But I want to do things a little differently. This is a thread for writing 'practice' dream journal entries. I've done this privately a couple of times, but now I want to try it in public. The best part about this is, you can do as many fake entries as you want whenever you want.
Some tips for making this work a little better:
-Don't go too ridiculous or outside of your capabilities as a dreamer. It's most effective if you keep it more realistic. If you are well aware of how lucid dreaming 'feels' for you, try to stay in that feel, perhaps pushing the boundary just slightly. For example, My longest WBTB chain had three lucid dreams, so I probably wouldn't write a practice DJ entry with more than four.
-If you having trouble where to start, write about a non-lucid dream and then pretend you became lucid partway in it. What do you do? You could mash up multiple non-lucid dreams to make a new kind of non-lucid dream. Use your dream signs too and have yourself become lucid because of them.
-Keep in mind the ways you get lucid. For example, I often get lucid with the use of a nose-pinch reality check. So chances are, In a good fraction of the lucid dreams I write, that is how I will see myself coming lucid.
-Most importantly, use it to practice what you need to work on. I always forget to stabilize in my dreams, so I might be having to remind myself to stabilize in my dreams more often. Got a goal in mind? A lucid dare or wanting to do the task of the month? You can practice that here.
-Use your DJ's formatting. If you have a color code, use it. If you like to include pictures, include pictures here too. Try to make the DJ entry feel as real as possible.
-You could even write completely nonlucid dreams if you felt inclined to do so. Good for practicing recall and putting your dream signs together.
