I have started reading a lot on Lucid Dreaming in the past couple months. The more I read about it, the more I become aware about something that happens a lot to me. I am sure it happens to alot of others, but I am curious what I can categorize it as. Well, it always happens in areas with alot of commotion or background noise. ( For example, in class). It happens all the time to me almost everytime, that is. When I lay my head against the wall, or in any position and close my eyes, I start to drift. Then I become less aware of my surroudings and the "real" noises become farther in the background, and as they go farther in the background, I become more in a dream state. The images I have become clearer and I think I can control them because I know that I am still partly awake and more along the lines of day-dreaming, but very vividly.. What is this called? |
