      Short LD; weird after feeling.

So I was at my school with my friend and told him the hallway was really plain (no photos on the walls.) and then I became lucid, a couple seconds after realizing I was dreaming everything became dark and I think I was back in my room still fully paralysed from the dream; it was a weird/cool feeling. Then I'm pretty sure I just instantly fell asleep. (don't really remember.) Does that happen to anyone else?? What should I do if it happens again?

I forgot to add (just realized I don't fall back asleep) I got out of sp and I was on my back with my arms above my head (I've gotten lucid in this position 2 times already through paralysis) my right arm was literally just dead/had no feeling for like a whole minute..

I believe this could be a sort of sleep paralysis right after waking from a dream. Your mind wakes up before your body does. That dead feeling your arm had could be because it just took longer to wake up, though I'm not sure what's really causing that. I'm not completely sure about this explanation, and I'm not sure what would be the best thing to do in that situation.

Wow that's an odd experience, you must be really weird
      Kidding lol.

But in all honesty, it sounds like you didn't stabilize the dream in time and therefore it ended. Maybe when you became lucid you aroused your emotions and it could've caused that as well. As for your arm, I agree with ParanoidLlama. Hallucinations of all types can occur when you just wake up from a dream, especially as fast as you woke up. Visual hallucinations aren't the only that occur when immediately waking up from a dream.

Yea I always feel SP numbness with my arms over my head... especially when I cross my feet. Any time I feel that numbness too the chances for lucidity up tremendously.
