Worm holes: Was this a WILD? If not, what was it?

I've only ever had this experience once, but it was one of the most unique dream experiences I've ever had. I was laying in bed going to sleep, but instead of just drifting off to sleep and slowly working my way into a dream, at one point that night as I was drifting off I was almost instantaneously shot down what I could describe as a worm hole like tunnel where I flew out of the other end and landed on the ground into a vivid dream. I've never experienced it since, I could see the tunnel and I could see my self flying through it and I could see my self exit the tunnel at the other end into a dream scene.
