      Found An Interesting Thing

I found an interesting thing. Last night, I had a nonlucid dream where I was in a castle like Hogwarts and I found a room in the great all, where you have to hold up a goblet to the door for it to open. After going down a twisty staircase, I found an extremely dark room only lit by a door. The light from the the shines on a group of people at a table. On the table is a drink and a bunch of stuff that I personal to me. They told me to drink, I did. They told me to choose something, I chose a DVD of my schools show choir and I walked to the door. They tell me through the door, I will go deep in my own mind and find something out about myself. I walk through, and all of the sudden, after a flash of bright light, I found myself falling and singing at the same time. I fell through empty holes, tunnels, sewer pipes. I eventually was pulled out by an old man, but I don't think I was pulled out. I found myself younger and with two girls. After thinking about it, they were the same girls from a lucid dream I had when I was a little kid. Look at my dream journal to read it. One was my dream guide, the other was a blonde girl.

After thinking about it, the room told me now that I'm of age, I've started to fall deeper into darkness because of my loss of innocence. It reminded me of the way I used to be when I was younger. Innocent and happy.

So, what do you guys think?

I think it's a beautiful dream. Very inspiring.

You should make sure to make a note of where it is in your dream journal so you can go back to it often, and remember.

      What an interesting experience!

I've had a couple similar dreams and I still remember them vividly to this day. I love when we can experience such fantastic and profound things in our dreams that they stay with us for the rest of our lives.

Do you guys believe that the dream realm is a deep level of consciousness that connects everyone together? Because, I do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big believer in all that astrology stuff (me being a christian myself) but there definitely seems to be something strongly spiritual that we all share in dreaming. So, I ask you guys...should I tell people about this dream and maybe people can LD and find the door with the symbol and the dark room with the drink and the personal items. Other dreamers should go through the door and experience the same dream odyssey that I have? Maybe they can find something out about themselves. I mean, other people can benefit this and it can give them something to do when they have a Lucid Dream!

That is certainly a thing people could do as a lucid dream goal. Personally, I am still trying to get to some childhood dream places that I dreamed of recurringly as a child. I'm finding that difficult.

I also don't believe the dream world to be a stable world like the physical world if it is a world at all but I do believe that I know close to nothing. Everything is possible.

You say you are christian, so here is a dream theory that came to me recently. It came to me because searching for a meaning in my waking life, I realized there probably was no one goal because once you would have accomplished it, what would there be next? You'd be done? So instead, I think life is just an eternal canvas for group experience. We all live together and create memories. It's all about love and companionship. And our relationship with Life (or God). So that got me thinking, what's the purpose of dreams? Maybe, it's just the same, but you're alone. With Life (or God). So, it's just God, spending time with you, putting you in different positions, so you may learn about yourself. So dreams, might not be about connecting with other humans, which we already do in waking life, but possibly about connecting with God on a deeper level, because it's just you and God.

That would make sense in Christianity actually. Joseph, the son of Jacob, himself was a dream interpreter and always said in Genesis that dreams had meaning and even interpreted the Pharoah's dream. That's a good theory, I'll think on that! Thanks dude!

I believe dreams are just a manifestation of our own mind, and because of this they are very personal and only us can comprehend their real meaning. Because of this if anyone else went trough the same door they would experience something completely different.

Lucids that give an afterglow are awesome though, thanks for sharing yours.

That's what I'm saying. They'd go through the same door and experience something else that has meaning to them. It'd be a really cool experiment to look into.
