Hello, I guess some of you remember a thread a made about "Lucid dreaming using the will". First of all, I begun to write Dream Journal ( Awoken app is pretty useful for a lazy person like me ) on the app and it also do RC with a "totem sound", but I only wrote Dream Journal about Lucid Dreams I had recently ( 3 ). Anyway, I will say what I tried and apparently helped me:
- I can't lucid dream properly if I am not on bed looking up ( sky direction ), not sure how to properly say this in english. Why? At least for me this occur: inside the lucid dream I begin to lose my balance as if gravity is affecting me and my view also fel like falling down to left or right ( depending to where I am looking when sleeping ), but if I sleep looking up ( in a comfortable way ) it works and I don't get thrown out of my lucid dream. That's for me at least.
- I begun to use a phrase before sleeping to make sure I want to lucid dream, it seem to have helped. Something like ( just an example ) "Log-in" thinking in a serious tone and trying to concentrate imagining my body parts as if they were moving while with the eyes closed, in a calm way and imagining myself moving in a different world.
Not sure if this somehow helped me too, but I had bad nights these 4 last days and today I had only slept 4h ... went to sleep 4AM and awoke 8AM. 11AM I went to sleep and inside the dream I noticed I was dreaming and begun to move around in the streets ( I won't go in much details about the dream ), created some shortcuts etc ... I awoke. Then I probably made a WILD, I was still pretty awake and tried to sleep again but then I just started lucid dreaming in a weird world, there I tested gravity by walking in the wall, super jumping, moving through walls and flying.
But still, I have some questions:
Why in every dream ( lucid or not ) it's like I am in another world? For example, that one on WILD I was on a world living in a mansion with Goat like people ( don't ask me why because even I was like "wtf" ) but every single of them had different personality and were doing something alone without me directly thinking on what they needed to do. It's like I was on a movie with super powers and could also change the world, the mansion design was pretty random for example probably because I never thought of how the hallways would be connected etc. But in this lucid dream I made myself exit in fear or so I would say, I left the mansion while moving through the walls and went to the street ... it was very vivid with cars moving, people talking and I felt my bones of the head trembling a lot. I begun to lose balance inside the lucid dream and the scenary begun to disappear ( I guess it's because there was too much action happening at once ), I calmed myself and it went back to normal but the weird feeling didn't stop and I was like: "What the hell, I hope I don't get some brain damage or anything as I didn't sleep a lot these days" and forced myself to eject of the dream. I awoke feeling very well and not tired, should I just ignore it next time?
