Before bed vitamins
Today i got b6 and melatonine and im gonna use them today, however the melatonin is timed release (meaning its affects start almost instantly after you take the tablet) but the b6 isnt instant, So how long before bed should i take the b6 pill, how fast does it take to kick in ?

Time release means it will slowly be released into your system.

:o really?! the guy at the pharmacy said it means that it enters my bloodstream right away... damn....
ok thank you

Time release may mean that it starts instantly and then releases the rest over time.
Take the melatonin right before sleep and take the b6 about 4 hours before bed.
I recommend 5-htp along with all that personally.

You can take the melatonin within about half an hour before sleep. Being time released means its going to take a little while before it seeps in, but you want it to be active right about when you're getting ready to lay down. The bottle I have says take about 20 mins before bed, but I usually do it a little earlier because I only get an average of about 6 hours of sleep, and its made to help with your normal sleep cycles which average about 8 hours.
As for the b6, my best advice to you is to take the b6 RIGHT BEFORE you go to bed.
I take mine when I'm right about to lay down, and there are two reasons for this:
1) If you take the b6 too long before you go to bed, you're going to start to feel the effects of it, and its going to be Damn Near Impossible for you to get to sleep.
2) You want to give the b6 a little bit of time to work. The later in your sleep cycles that you feel the effect, the better. You want the b6 to take effect when your REM cycles are a little more intense, so the earlier you start feeling the effects of the b6, the more of it you're going to end up wasting because your really strong REM cycles don't come until later in the night.
Hope this helps.
