It really depends on what works for you. If you believe it'll happen just running and doing it, then it will. Personally I always seem to have more success in my lucids when I operate on instinct and don't try to analyse anything. If you've transformed in nonlucids I think that'll give you some clue as to what to shoot for.

EDIT: Hey, I've been meaning to ask you guys - What usually happens to trigger your shifting? What's it like/how does it happen when you do?
