Sometimes I feel these surges of energy. In strength training, endurance training or violin playing. Sometimes I go through insane training or practice sessions that are absolutely impossible to put into a schedule. Because of the incredible mentol effort it requires. So go for it man. Use the energy while you have it. Moments like this are very rare.
Respectfully, I'd like to disagree. I'll use the example of strength training as an analogy to the skill of lucid dreaming. I've done strength training for the past 5 years of my life, in various forms. And I've had tons of those moments where I'm filled with energy, etc, and I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with that, but it won't get you big, so to speak. It's more of just an outburst of energy. I spent probably 4 years fooling around with days like, mixed in between changing my routine and overall foolishness, and although I made progress, it wasn't anything to write home about. However, this year, I had a completely different approach. I completely forgot about the eventual goal, i.e. gaining muscle, and I just stuck to my plan of going to the gym 3 days a week. I would do it consistently, and I honestly completely forgot about gaining muscle, but then one day I got on the scale and found out I had gained 20 pounds!
My point is, the only way you are going to succeed is if you are consistent. Any person who has achieved a goal will tell you that the way to go is slow and steady. Make small changes, but make the change consistently. It might seem like going all out every once in a while at the very least wouldn't hurt, but the truth is, it will burn you out.
I mean, but hey, if it works for you go for it, but I would recommend using the energy for long term planning instead, because that's where you really see results.
