Bet you can't guess what i see! |

I keep forgetting to ask about this, but I remembered this time. Any time I close my eyes, if I focus on the edge of my vision, I am aware of - you guessed it - a pulsating ring of light. I'll describe as well as I can. Imagine a perfect circle, right at the edge of your most extreme peripheral vision. Sticking out from this circle are short, straight lines, almost like cactus spines, or rigid cilia - also white - and spaced sporadicaly. This ring, and its sixty or so spines, pulsate continuously. The whole circle turns a few degrees to one side and it expands ever so slightly, then jumps back to its original size and position. It oscilates thusly perhaps 6 - 7 times per second. |

yeah same thing happens to me - realyy strange |

I have a question before I try this. Are you moving your eyeballs to the edges of their sockets to view edges or are you talking about true peripheral vision which does not require moving the eyes? |

I see things when my eyes close too, but not exactly pulsating rings of light. I will look specifically for these, though. |

I don't know why, but I'm sure that this perception is entirely internal. It's not like a diffuse glow, it is crisp and clear. Always the smae shape and shade of white. It almost seems that the longer you look at it, the wider it gets, and eventualy you can't see it anymore, unless you wait a few minutes before trying again. Wierd. |
