I have a place that I like to think of when I want to escape from the real world. It's only an image, but I'd really like to see what else the place has around it. I know that it's outside and all of the colors are extremely vivid (grass=bright green, blue=bright sapphire). There's a tree on the top of a hill and I usually picture myself reading there.
Fun thread!
I would love to go to the world of Dark Souls, but before it was corrupted and destroyed. Such amazing views and architecture, such sad nature and atmosphere.
Interestingly enough, I'd also like to go back to a lucid dream spot I went previously. A DC of my friend drove me to a farm surrounded by cornfields, and on a lone hill sat a gigantic, ancient oak tree. She and I sat in it and bathed in the sun. The smell and the raw emotions were still to this day one of the most enjoyable LD experiences ive had. So simple, yet so nice.
Ah! I need to get some more Hogwarts going. I was just reminded of a bunch of non lucids that I have had there. :P I can't even imagine a lucid there... Might add this as a dream goal soon. After I complete one of the big ones I already have.
Interesting thread!
What do I want to explore these days? Places, conditions, or aspects of my self that currently defy imagination, escape perception, or deny definition. It's a bitch, and the journey will take the rest of my life, but hopefully the rewards and discoveries will be worth the exploration!
When I was a child at my grandma's house - I would spend hours with imagining to go into one of the many paintings and have adventures there.
It's still sometimes hard to believe for me, that what I am learning here, lucid dreaming, is the key to actually do all and every such thing.
I'd like to start exploring some of the things I visualize while reading books, such as The Sword of Truth series, The Inheritance Cycle series, and The Obsidian Trilogy. That would be amazing, since there's so much description in them, not to mention that there's so much lore about the lands and such, that if I put it all together, it could become something beautiful.
That's an easy one..
