How do DCs reacts for you when you become lucid?

So, I'm asking how does DCs reacts to you becoming lucid?

Like, I lucid dreamt this night and when I realized I was dreaming, every dream characters around just stopped talking and moving and just became like some sort of shells.

So, I'm wondering if that's just me, as everytime I become lucid every DCs around become shells/stiff bodies or something.

Oh the reactions are different for everyone, for me, DCs don't even care and everything just goes like nothing happened.

Punch them and see what happens. Maybe you'll bring them back to life.

You could expect them to do something, maybe they just react that way because you expect them to lol

They just keep doing whatever they were before. Unless of course, I expect them to turn around and gasp or run away, or talk to me... In which case, they will.

I made a dream character say something very specific last night in a lucid, but I forget exactly what it was.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

It really depends on the DC. Usually, if the DC is a person that I know in waking life, they'll just shrug it off as me being ridiculous ("What are you talking about? No, we're not dreaming!"). There are a few select DCs who seem more "self-aware" than others though (these tend to be "original" DCs; meaning, non IRL people)

I have this one DC who, when I asked, "Hey, you realize this is all a dream, right?" he responded with, "Of course. I know."

The next time I saw him in another dream (on another night) he also asked me, "Hey! Remember me? From the last dream??"

So yeah, it depends on the DC. And helpful DCs totally rule.
