How Detailed Are Your Lucid Dreams?

I had a dream last night that was more detailed than usual. Everything really did look, well, real!

It's a little odd, and sometimes I think if my dreams get like this, it'll be hard to become aware, as nothing will be completely out of place.

How detailed are your guys' dreams?

      Lucid or Non-Lucid?

I know my LUCIDS always become detailed after I stabilize and increase lucidity, but my
      Non-LDs are never like this.

      Thoughts?

I once had a dream that was amazingly vivid and detailed. I saw a DS, and then everything became much more detailed. I hadn't become lucid yet. I saw how my environment was super clear, so I denied it being a dream, but saw that this is a good opportunity to practice a RC, so I did. Then, what!? This is a dream!? I was so confident that I said:"If this was a dream, then, clarity now!" but nothing became clearer bcz it was already super clear(this before I did the RC)
I don't know if this counts, bcz I did gain a little awareness during this.

Before I knew what a lucid dream was, I was having lucid dreams, but also these things that I guess one would call OBE's, but someone said that OBE's are just freakishly vivid detailed LD's, I had a hard time accepting that it wasn't real, but it couldn't be as they involved cheetahs, street cones, this mud demon, a theater being in my room, and others strange things. I even had one where I kept trying to communicate with my sister, she was were I last saw here before i went to sleep, she was on the computer. I kept getting sucked back into by body like 5 times, and I'd run to her again and try to talk to her but she ignored me, then a evil being kept slamming my body to the ground and dragged me back to my room. And I guess when I finally actually woke up I went and yelled at her for not talking to me when the thing was after me, and she had not a clue what I was talking about. She couldn't hear or see me, but maybe it was a dream, felt real though. It's still confusing to me.

Narwal: My mom had the same thing! She actually was trying to suicide:/
It was so real that she didn't even think it was a dream until I told her. IMO, it was a dream, and so is yours. I had a very vivid and aware dream(my 2nd lucid). It was like that before I became lucid(the above post).

Sometimes they are very detailed and vivid, and sometimes the "quality" is so bad that I can't even see people's heads. And I haven't actually notices any correlaction between that and how lucid I am. So I wonder what does that depend on.

      @Narwhal
so there is not really such a thing as an out of body experience? I mean, if your sister was there and for exemple during your oobe/very vivid ld you saw what she was doing on her computer, and then, if after you woke up (and yelled at her for not talking to you when that thing was after you ), she would tell you that while you were sleeping she was doing that exact same thing you saw her doing on her computer, then it couldn't have been only a dream, right?
sorry the whole concept of obe confuses me because I've had it a few times but always assumed it was a dream..

I'm completely confused about it too, it seemed to be different, more of a life like reality than the dream world reality even that of a lucid dream. I've no idea

An OBE is similar to AP, but it is like this:
You are in your body, and you float or roll out of it. Almost everything is identical to was was happening before you slept, since in an OBE, the mind generates your last memory of what was happening, and your place. It is not an actual OBE, just a dream

Still, a lot of people believe it's their soul roaming, and I don't blame them. OBE is freakin' real!

My lucid vividness really depends on how exhausted I was when I slept, and how determined I am. The other night I went to bed much earlier than I normally do, and ended up having my first super lucid dream in a few months. It was perfectly real to the tiniest detail, however it had the feeling of an InstaGram filter. Everything was TOO pretty, and glowing faintly. My eyes were completely fooled, but part of me still knew it was a dream.

Imagine getting a bit drunk, or having just been woken up, and then putting orange tinted sunglasses on. Pretty much that real.

It depends one a few parameters. On the one hand it depends on what I primarily focus on and on the other hand it somehow depends on the "feel" of the dream. I don't quite know how to describe it. There are some NLDs for instance (probably like 1/week by now) that are extremly vivid and lifelike and I can usually write a whole page about them upon waking up. I usually recall something including all the senses (in my not so vivid dreams I usually don't remember sounds quite so well) within those dreams. Then there are probably ~10 dreams/week that I can recall which are reasonably detailed. The rest of the dreams are average or just fragments. My LDs however are always very vivid (as long as I'm able to stabilise ofc). The shorter ones are harder to keep, but usually the vividness doesn't differ too much

Lucid or not, my dreams mine as well be real... Color, all the senses, I can feel pain (and pleasure 8===)... I feel textures... motion. I have full cognitive ability. I can do ANYTHING in a dream. Even dream in a dream. In lucid's, I have EVERY dream power, with full control. A good example of the extreme realism in my dreams would be when I fly... I feel the acceleration in my stomach, and feel the wind rushing past me... I get hit in the face by bugs and shit... If I go over mach 1, there is a sonic boom. If I don't slow down before I land, I will break my legs (and it fucking hurts--trust me). My dreams are MORE than real, as I can even experience things that do not exist (new colors, 360 vision, other dimensions, extra senses, etc.). My dreams (and lucid's) are also VERY long. Some have lasted weeks. And to top it all off, as of late, reality checks no longer work... in other words, clocks work, mirrors work, my hands are never deformed, etc. This has led to my uncanny ability to simply KNOW that I am dreaming, through pure logic. This is how all my lucids start now. "Hmmm... talking dog? I guess I'm dreaming." I don't even practice any lucid techniques anymore either... I don't RC... I don't take supplements or herbs... I don't even dream journal... as what is also VERY realistic about my dreams (lucid, or not), is how I can remember every detail as if it actually happened. Because of my uncanny ability to remember dreams, a journal isn't really necessary, and it's not like I need more lucids... I get them pretty much every other day.

      I got skillz son.

I had a dream that was full of awareness last night, thus very vivid. Very close to becoming lucid

My dreams are quite interesting compared to what i ve heard from some of my friends, contradicting even much of what dezz here tells me at school.... i am also a vivid dreamer: i dream in all five senses, clocks move, DCs act independent of me, lots of stuff. i can tell its a dream as soon as something like this happens: normal day, ya know, and then i see i thing i WISH were real, like wizards or such things (im into that stuff) and then im all like *evil laugh* this dream is MINE!!!...then i do whatever i feel like.... oh its great. my favorite part is how i ld so often, and probably my second favorite part is that i can do things a lot of people say they cant : like dying, feeling pain, etc
