      Lucid dreaming television :

I am surprised nobody mentioned these TV shows yet. 'The Prisoner' 2009 miniseries. This series stars Sir Ian McKellan from 'The DaVinci Code'. I'm a fan of him that's why I watched this back in 2009, but It totally slipped my mind to put it up on my thread, but here it is now. I loved the new 2009 version personally, but a lot of the people that saw the older version first turned out to not like the newer version at all.
      The Prisoner (TV Mini-Series 2009) - IMDb

You will see many similarities between this 2009 miniseries and the 'Inception' film which came out only a year later in 2010, so I often wonder if Christopher Nolan stole any of the ideas from the 2009 version of 'The Prisoner'. This show is not just about lucid dreaming and dreaming , but a lot of other things as well. It will not disappoint . Great show!

The 2009 version was based off of the 1967 series 'The Prisoner' which I have yet to see.
      The Prisoner (TV Series 1967

The 2009 miniseries has a lot to do with lucid dreaming and dreaming, I'm not sure if the older series does as well however. Has anyone here seen the older series? I believe the 2009 series is actually not a remake after all, but rather a re-imagining of the 1967 series which might explain why many of the people that liied the original 60s version did not like the newer version of the show. Whatever the case I'm going to watch the new one again and watch the old one too, because a lot of people say the older version is really very spectacular.

Edit : I just Google the 60s version and found out it has a lot to do with dreaming and lucid dreaming as well. So I can't wait to buy these and watch all of the episodes.

Weell - I watched the new "The Prisoner" now and I have to say I was quite dissatisfied with the ending and overall lack of proper reasoning in the story. Maybe it's just me, and there were no inconsistencies and no lack of explanations - but I felt disappointed, had expected more interesting revelations at the end.

Edit: But - I got lucid from Number 2 trying to reason me into something in a dream and realizing, that I'm inside of fiction and I took the opportunity to decorate myself with basic ToTM wings. So that alone was worth something!

Books: Eragon is great if you're looking for dream control inspiration (it has a really original view on magic).
I see what you are getting at with this, but SAO is not really lucid dreaming.

It's inspiration to lucid dream, but it's not based on lucid dreaming, or even closely related (Except for the NerveGear, but that's stretching it).

The Matrix, even though it's not explicitly about lucid dreaming but it does addresses the same paradox of being awake and asleep at the same time.

      Vanilla Sky

      Inception

      Waking Life

Those are my favorite ones and the ones I can come up with at the top of my head.
