Waking Life Lucid Dreamer Greeting Idea Thread (Physical/Visual)

We are creating an Unofficial Waking Life Lucid Dreamer Greeting! There is a sister thread to this one for the Verbal Greeting. This thread is for ideas for a visual greeting, a handshake/bow/sign/wave we can do when we meet people that shows we are Lucid Dreamers. Here is how this works: 1. Post a single idea for a visual greeting we can do whenever we meet new people. 2. Post as many times as you wish. (within reason!) 3. Read through the entire thread, and Like all the posts with your favorite greetings. 4. The post (not including this one!) with the most Likes by 1/14/2014 will become the Unofficial International Lucid Dreamer Greeting!

How about the famous hand reality check? Sticking your point finger (from right hand) in your left palm. Super common reality check, and somewhat discrete but not enough that other lders won't notice it

I was gonna suggest the palm/thumb as well. It's kinda similar to kung-fu? (I think) open palm/fist greeting, so may not look too "cookie" when doing it. And it should be recognized by all LDers. Yeeey to palm/thumb!

How about crossing your left and right index and underneath your left and right middle finger. (Make a scissors out of your index and middlefinger on both hands and then cross them.) I had to draw what I meant on pain because taking a picture is too much hassle (Sorry ) Corss.png

let the finger tips of the opposite hands meet(thumb tip with other thumb's tip), and let the pinky from the right hand slide down to form and L for the one who faces you(L for Lucidity,obv.). Make sure only the tips meet, not the palms. I'll add a pic later.

I would go with nose pinch while shaking hands. It's quite discreet ("Sorry, itchy nose") but a LDer would recognize it.
