It would be hard to create a phrase that doesn't sound out of place if it was meant for identifying new lucid dreamers.

@StephL That's a great idea for a catchy German phrase. I really love the ambiguity of it!

Members discovering other lucid dreamers as well..
I sort of update my own discovery count there - lastly I found some on my darts-forum.
Muuch more interest and actual experiences came up, than I expected - maybe one or the other will click my links to DV I put up.
Got to maybe think of a further small link-list, I personally would like to water these darterīs mouths with.

The response could be "Splendid to meet you too, interesting word choice...splendid." If you want to be sure, maybe the first person responds to the responder "deja vu."
There could be a separate saying for acquaintances that you haven't discussed LDing with before, perhaps an exact, short phrase like "Whoa, deja vu." Again, the key is the matching response, maybe "It sounds like you need to unplug" (both from The Matrix). If the first person meant nothing related to LDing by using the deja vu phrase and looks at you strange with the "unplug" response, you can say "oh...your deja vu comment just reminded me of a line in the The Matrix." (you can decide from there if you want to discuss LDing at all).
There is a main chat thread for brainstorming (making a list of many different good/bad random creative ideas).
This thread is for listing one idea per post for the purpose of voting. Please reserve all comments for the main chat thread.

I will cross-post all these replies to this thread.
