Think of this as a tutorial on doing W.I.L.D without having to wake up six hours in. And i recommend taking melatonin. So, have you ever noticed
that you see patterns, and spectacles of light when your eyes are closed? That's called Hypnagogic Imagery. you could even see it now if you try, but if you are in the middle of your day, you can't do anything with it.
When you go to bed tonight, Make sure you are VERY, VERY tired. (Which is why i recommended melatonin.) And if you plan on taking Vitamin B6 tonight as well, do it earlier before you go to bed. I always felt that the B6 kept me up for a long period of time. What you need to do is look at the patterns and shapes you see behind your eyelids for a few minutes. When you feel ready, start trying to change their shape. Beginners may want to try ripping them apart. Do this for a few minutes, and again, when you feel ready, try for something more complex, like an animal, or a house or something. Then, begin to make your own world. Detail it as much as possible. Eventually, you will be there. I know this sounds alot like the regular W.I.L.D, but this is the version that you do not have to wake up after 6 hours. And, usually you aren't using the imagery, you just jump right in.
For those who don't know, a dry spell is when you don't have any dream recall for a period of time.
