Hi Guys,
I am currently going by the schedule of:
go to sleep at around 12: 15 AM,
be woken up by the alarm at 6:05 AM
Record any dreams I remember in my Cell phone and Try to WILD.
Finally, When I wake up for the day at around 10 AM, I record any dreams I might remember.
but the thing is, I am in need of changing this schedule due to some unavoidable personal circumstances to :
Go to sleep at around 10 PM,
Wake up at the sound of alarm at around 3-4 AM,
Go back to bed to WILD,
Finally wake up around 6-6:30 AM.
Now the question I have is just that I am actually changing my later part of my sleep (REM Sleep) from 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM to ( 4:30 AM to 6:30 or 7:00 AM)
so how much will it affect my Lucidity attemtps? I am planning to make the 10-6:30 my consistent sleep schedule but I hear that the ambient light plays a role in LDing and recall, so will my new schedule bring down my chances of LDing because my Later part of sleep is not in the dawn and early-later morning but instead 4-7 AM? or is it immaterial and only the Hours of sleep mater? also, Can I just have a dim night lamp to compensate for the Loss of ambient light?
Thank you for your assistance.
