Hi Guys , new poster here. |
I have had 1 LD but it was nothing special, just black...I too struggle with motivation, but what I do is imagine a world with no boundaries, a place where I am not restricted by my not so great waking life. |
~~~~~{Lucid Dream Goals}~~~~~
~~{Look at my hands}-{Find a light switch}-{Eat something}~~
the mindset that I find works best is the mindset of longterm process. |
^ What MasterMind said, I do however find it useful and enjoyable to keep at least the goal for your next lucid dream in mind. It is also useful so you do not end up simply wandering but perhaps not in your stage yet, right now you might want to simply experience with lucidity as much as possible no? |
No one succeeds without first failing. Some may fail more than others but success is guaranteed with devotion and appropriate practice. |
Recalling your regular dreams, if you don't do that well already, can be motivational. Some are mundane, yes, but some are so interesting and thought provoking. |
Who cares about RCs. RC spamming never works. |
That's not necessarily true. As long as you stop what you are doing and put some meaning behind RCs, they should work. I had a lucid dream just the other night that started off with me accounting eleven figures. So yes, it does work. And everybody is different. Just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean that it won't work for the next guy. |
What critical question you are asking by stopping RCing? |
A few things that spark my motivation: |
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."
I think ironically lack of motivation, which can equate to a lack of mental energy and clarity, for me at least, corresponds to average dreams and lack of lucidity. |
