Whenever I have a lucid dream in which I successfully start levitating, I almost immediately get a lower leg cramp in my one of my real world legs which forces me awake. Does anyone have a valid explanation for this? |

The first thing that comes to my mind is that you are focusing so hard to levitate that you are actually flexing your leg while you sleep. Next time you try to levitate, try to not use your legs as your levitation point. Right now, do you tell yourself that its your legs lifting you into flight? Try to tell your mind that its your hands, or the sky pulling you upwards. |

Its feels more as if I am shifting my whole body in a certain direction by willpower. Levitating isn't difficult for me to do compared to trying to shoot bolts of electricity from my fingers which truly gives me brain strain. I do not focus on bouncing or lifting with my legs into the air. |

Chop off your legs when in the dream. You don't need them, they don't exist. |

I've got an idea.. |

Maybe you are concentrating on it too much physically? If yes, maybe try concentrating less and use more passive dream control. Also check out this tutorial if you haven't already: http://www.dreamviews.com/articles/7...-tutorial.html |
