Thread: Duel existence in OBE?

Hey this happened to me a while ago but I was reading my journal and thought about it. Thought you guys might be interested!

So I was attempting to WILD, and after I felt my body fall asleep I got up. I looked at my bed and saw myself sleeping. I touched my arm and it felt like it was someone else touching me from the side. But at the same time I could feel myself touching the arm like I was touching a strangers arm. It was really cool. Thoughts?

I don't really OBE (since I think that they are just LDs), so I cannot say.

However, when I am waking up I can often feel two bodies, one lucid dreaming, the other laying in bed. One time I moved the wrong body when I still had my senses in the dream. It made the entire earth shake. It was crazy!

I never feel this sensation of being asleep and dreaming at the same time. I hear about it a lot. What I experienced was just me being in a dream, then touching what felt like me real life body. Next time this happens I will have to roll myself over and see if I get dizzy ha ha.

I wonder if you would wake up if you shook yourself hard enough. That would be pretty weird.

Another weird instance. I was lucid and talking to my DC wife. She made me lay down and told me to sleep (I do what almost any DCs tell me ) I closed my eyes and opened them. I woke up on the exact other side of the bed. It was a weird experience since it felt like I teleported into waking life.

But doesn't that happen every time you wake up? This sounds like how I did my first few lucid dreams. I would feel my body fall asleep then go walk around. The first time I did this I ended up lying down in my sleeping body then jerking back to reality. Felt cool. The only reason I refer to these as OBE's is because I can see my sleeping self laying down.

I rarely am near my bed. Even if I become lucid in a FA I try to get away from there.

Yeah, in my mind theu are not out of body, but when people say they see things that "actually happen" I think they are just underestimating dreams. I see them as Galadriel's mirror. It shows things that were, things that are, and some things that have not yet come to pass.
