Waking up out of excitement and losing the dream isn't a problem for me anymore.
I just reach a point in the dream that I forget I'm dreaming, or do remember that I'm dreaming but get caught up in a dream logic objective.
What are some techniques for remaining lucid in terms of not forgetting, rather than preventing yourself from waking up? Should I just keep doing reality checks as I go, or is there something else I can try?
