Life is boring -> dreams are fun |
I hate sleep. I either never sleep or I make it a game (and I'm good at learning games). I love my life. |
I love my life, dreams just begin to be a part of it again like other things and I would never wish me to stay forever in a dream, that would be no fun, I would miss too many things. |
Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week; you have a schedule, a calendar... Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures.
A fear of time running out.
My family, friends, my dog, my cat. The world; where people I loved died on and were buried in it. |
Too much stress in the real world. I love getting away in my dreams but I couldn't stay there forever. |
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

I have a pretty good life. Having fun in dreams is just a bonus. |
Signet, what is the longest dream you have had? I am not talking about time asleep, but what it felt like. |

I agree with Oceandrop. I have a lot of things I love here. |

Could you imagine if a drug is ever developed that could induce a lucid dream 100% of the time? That drug would be more desirable to addicts then heroin. Thats how powerful lucid dreams are... you never want them to end. |
True, I know a lot of people that say that they have gotten bored at times with lucid dreams. I do not think that this will happen to me, I think that if I get too bored I will start going through all the books I have read. Then movies, then video games. But I do not think this will happen. I feel like I can entertain myself for thousands of nights with this. |
I have yet to find anyone who tired of having lucid dreams except those who who did not have the creativity to imagine that which is greater than waking life. |
