Great relief was felt today.
I just had what felt like the longest 1-hour discussion about lucid dreaming with my BEST FRIEND OF 10 YEARS WHO IS A NATURAL WILD LUCID DREAMER AND I DID NOT FIND THIS OUT UNTIL AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO.
I have not been able to lucid dream (although I am getting close), but I kept tantalizing her with questions and such. She has been doing it ever since she was a kid and had thought everyone had done it. She pushes it off as no big deal and said that she hasn't found a way to stop them. They come more often than not to her. She thought it was funny that I had been practicing since this past summer. Wow. I felt like there was a huge weight that just lifted off of my chest because I don't talk to anyone in real life about lucid dreaming. I just come onto Dream Views if I have any questions. But now I have someone to really talk to about them.
Sorry, had to post my excitement. I don't even care if this is the right board or not to post this under.
And to think. I almost came to her after a couple of months of researching lucid dreaming because she's a psychology major and surely she had heard of it. Nope. She's definitely a natural LDer. Ugh.
Though she says that whenever she tries to control dreams more, she feels more exhausted in the morning. She also said that she sometimes normally feels this way anyway, but would naturally WILDing exhaust you at all? Or could it just be from day-to-day stress?
