I do not know that there are offically 3 types. The third type you are refering to could be called 'surreal." I often here that people experience dreams more vivid than life, however it is an illusion of limited prespective. The 'more real than life' experience is alot like the experiences people have on LSD. First, most do not pay enough attention in daily life. They basically fail to realize how vivid real life is. The dream is all consuming, so it may be a new thing to experience high awareness. the next 'illusion' is based on limited prespective, by that I mean that you are 100% focused on viewing or feeling only a few limited things. In a 'surreal' LD the colors in a mural may really pop and seem ultra-vivid, but if you break down the experience, all the other senses have been dulled. It is just my opinion. Maybe others will suggest a better word for it, or disagree that it is an illusion of 'realer than real.'
