Your dreams consist of what you process in your mind when your awake. So I would not trade my life for an endless Lucid Dream, because I would never experience new things, places, people, and thoughts. |

I would not trade my life for a permanent lucid dream. After all, I can lucid dream in my life, already. I would just be missing out on all the fun I have while awake. |

@meister you do know that our sub conscious can come up with things we don't even know about,it's like another person living inside of you. |

I feel like the dream state is a good representaion of what life after death is like, it's just on a lower dimension of consciousness. So I wouldn't be scared of missing friends and family because I feel like that means your scared of death. I'm connected to my soul which lives forever, and contains an even greater mount of love. Its infinte. To answer the stated question, I would say yes because it would be a way to transition from here to the after life without having to be physically killed. As long as I get to choose WHEN I trade my life for the dream world because, don't get me wrong I do have love for my family, friends, and my inspirations, so I'd like to get a chance to say bye to them before I leave |

I already think we are eternal and life is a lucid dream, but with set restrictions. |
No, don't think I would. Mainly because I would have no chance to help anyone else in the real world. My life would have no purpose, and there would be no chance that the lives of others be improved my mine. |
That question reminds me so much of "Abre los ojos" / "Vanilla Sky" movies... Which I don't know if it's a good or a bad memory, he he. |
No, I would not, and have thought about this quite a bit. I've thought about it enough that I wrote a novel about this kind of scenario. It could wreak havoc on the mind. |
That will be the fastest way for me to learn from my psyche but no, I wouldn't trade for it. In a world where there's only me, I wouldn't learn anything from it since I'm already living the ideal world for me. |
In essence, it would be like living inside your own mind. Eventually, you would go crazy, probably on purpose. The stimuli of having total control over your environment would wear off in a short time, leaving you with the choice to either wither away in boredom, or continually explore your mind with increasing chaos, until you go completely batshit insane. Just my take. |
While lucid dreaming is very fun because you can do what-ever you want, there will be a moment where you will get bored. |

As others have said, you would likely go completely insane after a few years, if not a few months. Lucid dreaming is fun, when experienced in bursts. It's a way to escape the bounds of reality for a few hours and do anything you can possibly think of. And I could imagine how becoming a God of your own universe could be fun and thrilling, but at one point wouldn't you become bored? |

I don't think you could ever get bored of lucid dreaming,if it's in your mind because our brain only becomes adaptive in the real world, but when you in the dream world you never get bored. And you could just erase your memory of this being a lucid dream. |
