My favourite one is hand RC...

I did experience what you have been, telling yourself you know you're awake... but the trick is just to ignore that and really (in my example) look at your hands and question if you're awake or not. And always when doing this, think about how you got to your situation, think about if you've woken up, got dressed and gone to work. Think about the journey.

In my dreams, (more DILD's than not) this happens, I randomly think how I got somewhere (as I randomly do it in the day) and then I look at my hands, which are disfigured, and LD away I go!

Just always question reality, like, 1 - 2 times an hour and it WILL carry over to your dreams, as it becomes "hardwired" into your brain to do such checks.

Even if you don't think it is real in your waking life, look past that and when it comes to your dreams, you'll still check reality, and then off of a sudden it hits you like a train, you are in fact dreaming - and that realisation (because everything before that was so real) will give you the best feeling ever.
