Forgetting my dream goals when I become lucid

Whenever I become lucid, I always forget that I want to do certain things and I end up doing pointless sh*t

I would appreciate any tips to help me remember

      EDIT:
Just realized I could use a mantra, any other tips would help though

Yea mantras before bed help a lot. What also has been working for me is writing down goals beforehand. I personally make a list of monthly lucid goals I would like to achieve. I read them a few times before bed. It's worked really well for me since I started doing it, and whenever I get lucid, it's so much easier to remember.

      Good luck

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Yes, writing down your goals works well and reading them before bed.

I do this silly thing - I practice my goals during day. When I realized I have never heard my voice in a dream, I practiced calling out commands like "Focus now" out loud. And in my next lucid, I heard myself talk in a dream the first time ever. I also practiced throwing fireballs, and It also worked. Just make sure no one can see you

I practiced flame weaving and using the force when I was younger before I went lucid, and I did both in multiple dreams throughout that time period. After I became lucid those were the two easiest things to do since I knew how easy it was. I also did Rasengan and Melchee's door but have not replicated in lucid dream. Anime are good for dream Ideas.

But you're probably not, because dream recall goes down the drain when you are on weed. I know a few people that used to dream every night, but after weed everyday they no longer have any dreams.
