Become lucid, lose control, false awakening.

I had a dream last night that I believe was a true lucid dream. I am very new to LD'ing. I have just started my 4th day of my dream journal and i know it wasnt much use to try techniques on attaining lucidity yet, but i tried WILDing when i woke up in the middle of the night last night. AND I THINK IT WORKED! i was so amazed that i could have an experience after being so new to the hobby. I eventually fell asleep and lost focus and failed at my wilding basically... i was in the woods walking, near a highway. and I saw dwayne johnson wielding a knife. (The rock from television). He told me to get away and indicated he was going to hurt/kill me. I ran away down a hill into a small valley, where i saw a white man, wearing white clothes, walking around his white car. (symbolism?) I talked to the man and told him he needs to leave because there is a man trying to kill him. for some reason i knew that the rock was looking for him to kill him. after a minute we sprinted to his car in a panic like we were getting chased, When i get in to the car, the up front passenger is my close friend, and the owner of the car is in the rear seat, as im driving. I have this car full throttle thru the woods. As i was driving at full speed i take one hand off the wheel, and did a reality check. I pinched my nose shut with my fingers and gasped. When my lungs filled with air, i was lucid. It was a pretty awesome feeling. we got out of the woods and were on a straight stretch of pavement. I leaned over to my friend in the passenger seat and set, im going to make this car fly! which i did. I pulled back on the wheel, and to my amazement, the car lifted off the ground! but i couldnt maintain flight, i tried again, and it flew even lower, then fell back down. After that i had no lucidity i dont believe, and at no point in the dream did i have control over anything besides making the car fly, but i was aware that i was dreaming, and made the car fly a little bit!! : ) then i had a false awakening, that was so really real. i woke up in my house, and my friend who was in the passenger seat was there. I assumed we had dreamt that dream together in the style of inception, like we were in the same dream together. I told him that i made all that happen because i was lucid dreaming and was practicing techniques to control my dreams. He was amazed and immediately became interested in lucid dreaming. After that i woke up for real. I went on to have two other dreams that night that were completely normal and i was just along for the ride. When i woke up in the morning i was stunned. I immediately wrote all three down in my journal. So im guessing this was a real lucid dream, but i just need to work on controling and pracice?

Sounds like it was a LUCID! Congrats! When you realize you dreaming, you have a Lucid dream. Doesn't matter, how little/much control you have.

Learn to do RCs each time you get out of the bed, so when you get out of bed in FA, you do RC also and it will get you lucid.

And yes, they should get better with practice. And here is a tutorial for Dream stabilization and clarity and here is one for Control.

      Happy dreams
