100 mg is 5000% of the daily value of B6, and that's a lot. 1 should be enough, but trying 2 once wouldn't harm you. If you do this on a regular basis it may be toxic to the nervous system. Even taking 1 of the B6 100 mg vitamins every day for a few months may cause numbness in the arms and legs temporarily, or until discontinuation of the supplement. I recommend taking it 3-4 times a week at the max, although if you wish to try taking 2 a couple times, it would cause no harm, as long as you do not take that dose regularly. It has been recently discovered that taking 100 mg or more a day of B6 can be toxic, so don't take it everday. If you wish, you can cut the vitamin in half and take 50 mg a day.
i check my foods and ive been eating b6 for a while now. especially before bed. my cerial is organic and it has 25% b6 but i take a big bowl so lets double that. i also had a banana lastnight right after it before bed and literally didnt remember a damned thing all night. i dont see what my problem is. ive been keeping a nice DJ and still seem to be having problems with recall now. i dont remember it taking this long to get my recall up a few years ago. it got so good in such a short time that i was fully remembering 3 or 4 long dreams every night without even writing them down anymore at the time. i dont know what my deal is now though. dangit!
has this b6 stuff worked for anybody yet?
Hmm, makes me wonder if it's all a placebo effect. I've never taken B6 in the quantities that others have mentioned, i've always got it from my diet, and i've always had excellent recall, ever since i was a kid.Quote:

Recall for me doesn't depend on what i've taken, it's more related to physical factors like how tired i am when i go to bed, how much sleep i've had over the last few days...Being overtired, and not sleeping properly, are my number one recall smashers!
Early night tonight!
200mg is way too much. At this level regular dosing can lead to peripheral neuropathy, aka nerve damage that leads to a lack of sensation in various parts of the body.
The RDA varies from between 1 and 3mg in various countries, and the upper tolerable limit is 100mg in a day, though even that I wouldn't recommend.
Just 8.4mg was enough to give me 25+ recalled dreams last night, 6 of which were lucid - my lifetime record for lucid dreams in one night, and nearly 1/10 of the lucid dreams I've had my entire life. I've heard at higher doses it actually isn't all that effective, so I'd buy a weaker supplement and take 5-10mg. :)
I appreciate your input on this topic but in light of the fact that the last post in this thread was over 7 years ago there's no need to answer the user's question. :)
