100 mg is 5000% of the daily value of B6, and that's a lot. 1 should be enough, but trying 2 once wouldn't harm you. If you do this on a regular basis it may be toxic to the nervous system. Even taking 1 of the B6 100 mg vitamins every day for a few months may cause numbness in the arms and legs temporarily, or until discontinuation of the supplement. I recommend taking it 3-4 times a week at the max, although if you wish to try taking 2 a couple times, it would cause no harm, as long as you do not take that dose regularly. It has been recently discovered that taking 100 mg or more a day of B6 can be toxic, so don't take it everday. If you wish, you can cut the vitamin in half and take 50 mg a day. |
