I am a person that daydreams 24/7! I don't think it's bad for lucid dreaming, but i don't beleve it will help you that mutch. Unless you can 'combine' it with a technique to induce lucid dreaming. |

I'm a daydreamer,it's very automatic to me,if I'm reading something or watching something I start creating different scenarios of alternate realities. Some are just a different version of my life, others are a alter ego of mine in a fictional universe, such as Harry Potter or Marvel).I dislike listening to music in Ipod or cellphone while walking or something like that,I rather daydream. |

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
It's best to have failure happen early in life. It wakes up the Phoenix bird in you so you rise from the ashes.

Thank you,I'll definitely try this, even though my daydreams are very messy,I'll try to focus on a single universe |

I have thought about this too, but I think daydreaming is bad for Lucid Dreaming. For LD'ing, you have to be aware of your surroundings. Do you feel the wind on your skin, see the texture of the ground, hear the sounds of the real world around you while daydreaming? Well, I don't. |

Unless you are specifically visualizing rather than just wandering off in your head, then I think it may make it harder. I day dream all the time too, no matter where I'm at or what I'm doing. I think it makes me have the bad habit of not keeping aware of myself or my environment. I feel like, for me, this transfers over to dreams, making DILD or any kind of in-dream induction method much more difficult. |
