In the situation you're describing, I've often had a dream where I believed I was in a video game switch over to knowing I was dreaming. When you already know you're in a world that's not real, it's just one step away from knowing it's a dream. Same thing can happen with movies. Especially with 3D. |

I can see that argument that the games would desensitize someone to reality if they are immersed in virtual reality all day. It may depend on how much one practices LD techniques during the day. There is an interesting article on gamers and lucid dreaming... |

I've seen that article. I don't agree with it. But then, everyone is different. If it works for you use it. Wish it was true for me. I used to love a good adventure game. But the only thing video games do for my dreams, is completely take them away. |
