Went to a cool planet named...Azterra

I was in the lucid state. I stated," take me to another planet!" soon I was flying through a large plate glass window...glass is so much fun to fly through! I came to a beautiful planet and from space it was as round as earth but much smaller. There were a group of human beings that were misshapen...some with overly large heads or one foot that extended two feet. But no one seemed to notice. There was no judgement based on outer beauty at all. They were very peaceful, content, not overly joyous or depressed...content would be the word. They were not emotional. They loved life. There was never any war at any time on the planet. There were no cars or steel buildings. They lived communally in natural dwellings of some sort. Their clothing was rather colorless. They took me on a walk through a beautiful apple orchard.

I came away from the dream realizing again....the magnitude of other planets of living beings in this multi-verse. It was very easy to get to this planet. It was close. I realized the density, gravity and darkness of our earth. It is full of war and hatred and violence. It is not an easy place to stay sane.

I have never felt like I belonged to this world and I remember a recurring dream as a child of walking down a dark, dark green and murky tunnel. I was very afraid. I was little, I wore white. There was an old man with a long beard who stood there handing me a halved globe made into a cup with a golden elixor in it. I took the cup and began walking down the tunnel. I think this is the tunnel of the planet earth. I never wanted to live in Las Vegas. But I keep winding up here. It is one of the sunniest places in the US but with dark underbelly of alcohol, gambling, drugs, violence, horrid economy, and prostitution.

Perhaps I am here to bring light and love. But I have made many mistakes. I think it is progress, not perfection! Now I can accept that perhaps I am in one of the darkest cities to help others. I help the mentally ill and recovering alcoholics and addicts...because I am one.

Wow, that's awesome! It's not very often that you have a dream so compelling, so mind-expanding like that. I really hope to try and visit this place.

Especially the part where you see what needs to be fixed here. That's just... that's what dreaming is about.

Maybe you should start writing a dream journal

Nice that was Definately pretty awesome, I don't think I have ever had a dream with meanings that so plainly correlate with my life. I never look deeply into my dreams though... Wow

I am lazy when it comes to dream journals. Instead I imprint the memories over and over in my mind...then I have a cup of coffee and continue holding on to the sequence, details and loose ends. Then I try to apply it to my life over the course of the day. I don't get the lucid ones as often as I would like. They have always happened spontaneously and I just accept that. The regular dreams usually mean I have to work on some part of my character. Yuk...no fun...but worth it, if I do the work to change...because I gain insight which leads to less baggage and more freedom!
