Hello everyone!
I recently had a weird dream experience and I'm looking forward to hearing your insights on the subject. Here's a brief version of what happened:
I was dreaming of a teacher I've known for no longer than 2 months, and suddenly I noticed her hands were not quite her hands - that was the cue for me to realize I was in a dream.
At first I thought she could be a mere character of my imagination, so I tried to control her, make her move around and so forth, but that didn't work.
She looked extremely drowsy, kept saying she hadn't had her coffee, and such oddities.
I, then, started asking trivial questions, and we ended up having a nice long conversation. (I don't feel like I remember one tenth of the whole thing, though)
By this time, the whole dream scenario was really bright! I was feeling unbelievably comfortable and relaxed. We chatted for what seemed to last an entire night of sleep (or even longer!).
Suddenly I tell her something like "too bad this is a dream because it's really fun!" and she comes up to me, grabs my hands, looks deep into my eyes and says "this is not a dream" and displays her hands as an evidence - yes, they were really her hands this time! And she continues with "this is the 6th plane... I'm not going to remember this because I haven't had my coffee, but this time you will, and you can wake up right now and tell me about it".
I had troubles awakening, so she bit my hand and I managed to wake up for good.
The first thing I did was jolt every piece of information I could remember about our conversation onto my notebook, such as parts of her phone number and other bits of personal information.
The following week I met her in class and told her this whole story. We were both like "what the fuck!!!" because I really got a LOT of things damn right, including a huge part of her phone number, things about her mom and so on. All of which I couldn't possibly know.
The reason I'm not scared is because I know what an awesome and soothing experience it was, - all my senses felt really enhanced throughout the whole dream, it was a VERY intense experience and there's no possible way I can link anything other than joy to it.
However, I do find it very bizarre that I was able to get an enormous amount of accurate information!
What do you guys say about it? Is that astral projecting?
It might be important to say that when I woke up I felt more rested than I normally do. Everything was just peaceful and good, more than words can describe.
Is there any chance we might have actually been to a "sixth dimension" or whatever? I'm fairly new to this subject, I don't know what to believe or not, but it would be cool to hear similar stories if you have any.
