So what is it?
The News of the Dreamworld is a pseudo newspaper with fictional stories entirely based on the real dreams of everyday people just like you!
Inspired by logs from online dream journals, this novelty e-paper depicts the dreamworld as a physical place that everyone shares. Currently it is exclusively based upon Dreamviews dream journals.
How it works!
First we check all the new dream journal updates of the day. Then we take dreams we like and write journalistic reports on them, using the details you write about. We then add an extra layer of fictional information to bulk out the content and present it as a real event that occurred in the 'dreamworld' which is written about like a real place which we all co-exist in.
The benefits of reading...
We Promote your Dream Journal
Your dreams are amazing. And we want to salute you for spending each day painstakingly writing them down. So each time we turn your dreams into fictional news stories, we post a link to your dream journal and the entry we were inspired by at the very bottom of the page. If readers like what they see, they can subscribe to your daily logs. Whats more, we even highlight two great dream journals each issue!
Its Surreal
We aren't just reading your dreams. We are making you feel like we were in them.
Open up our newspaper and read about the events you just saw in your dreams. Hear the accounts of "people" that witnessed it alongside you. Read about what happened after you woke up.
We make dream events feel like real events. The world you witnessed was not just in your head. Its as if you just saw real history take place.
We Motivate You
Dream journals get less attention then they deserve. We honor your work. And we hope that our paper will motivate you to keep posting, because chances are, we will find one of your dreams and turn it into a story that will not only entertain you, but will entertain many future readers.
Its Just Fun
Its a fun, novelty piece of material to keep you entertained. Try the word search at the back if you are bored. And marvel at some of the strange and scary things people dream up!
